Bernardo Lacoste

Bernie joined the wind industry in the mid 80’s working for Enertech Wind Systems, one of the few U.S. wind turbine manufacturers, erecting and operating roughly 500 machines. From there his career has followed several paths, like green field micro siting to maximize AEP, application engineering to improve budgetary numbers, performed construction project management in various countries, operated diverse wind turbine technologies, developed SCADA platforms to improve project performance, refurbished several hundred two-stage planetary gearboxes to improve service life, assisted with several structural component retrofit programs, performed forensic analysis of failed components and authored many operating procedures.
