About Heart of Texas Wind Farm:

Heart of Texas is interconnected with the ERCOT grid and has entered procurement contracts with AdventHealth and Zoetis, Inc. for portions of the project’s offtake.
Community Impacts:
Giving Back
Heart of Texas will put approximately 36 million dollars back into the McCullough County community over its 30-year lifespan.
Livestock Shows
Scout is a proud donor to the McCullough County Junior Livestock Association, a non-profit organization committed to the promotion and growth of youth participation in the stock show industry. The livestock shows highlight both the FFA and 4-H organizations throughout the county and gives young participants an excellent opportunity to showcase their hard work and dedication.
Wildlife Preservation
Scout became a manager of the Broad Heart Preserve to better protect the black-capped vireo and brown-headed cowbird populations near our project site, adjusting our permitting procedures to accommodate for the birds and their nesting patterns.
